Dr. Lalbiakmawia Ngente is an Architect and a Management graduate by profession. A devoted and articulate Leader, known for his meritorious achievements, dynamic outlook and service to society, he has multiple educational achievements, sports and other awards to his credits ranging from recipient of National Merit Scholarship to Asia Pacific Excellence Award for  excellence in professional and consultancy services.

After serving briefly under the Government of Mizoram, he started the premier consultancy firm of Mizoram, M/s L.B Associates (Architecture and Construction Consultants) in 1988 – of which he is the CEO till date. He is a fellow of Indian Institute of Architects as well as a fellow of LEAD (Leadership for Environment and Development) India since 2000, where he is actively involved in various capacities in the environment and sustainable development related issues. He was actively involved as a Mentor in the climate change program initiated by the LEAD India and British High Commission for North East India.
